Factors Resistance J.W.W BIRCH

Hi everybody... See you again in my next update..
It was a tiring today, but I try to complete my update.
There are the reasons for the problem that occured, it same goes to Dato Maharajalela.

Today, I would like to share a little bit information about the factors of the Resistance of J.W.W Birch.
Among the factors of the struggle are:

A.                  Taking the Right Collection of Taxes

On July 24, 1875 Birch forcing Sultan Abdullah signed a declaration that allows the British to take the right to collect taxes. Sultan Abdullah threatened to step down if refused to sign the declaration. Birch burn the house of Perak Raja Ngah People for continuing the tax collection tin in Bidor.


B.      Challenging Malay supremacy

Perak Sultan and the anger peaked on October 2, 1875. Abdullah was pressured to sign a declaration of surrender of British power. State administration submitted to the Resident. Resident authority to appoint judges, manage tax collection and appoint captains.


C.      Introducing the New Tax

Birch Birch act as they please to introduce new taxes such as the tax fields, boat canopy, weapons and permit fees for logging. Each household is required to pay 2 dollars as double taxation.


D.      Violation of Customs
Birch hated by the sultans and princes Silver when he banned the practice of slavery into Malay customs. Birch intentionally creates enmity when keeping slave girls in his home.
