Dato Maharaja Lela the Heroism.

     Hi Everybody,

We are already celebrating our Independence Day for 56 years old.
Emm, what do you think about it, have you know all of our beloved warriors?
For the given  opportunity to create this blog, I want to share a little bit of information about Dato Maharajalela against colonialism, the JWW Birch.

From my research, Dato 'Maharajalela Pandak Lam was one of the eight chiefs of Perak. Dato Maharajalela is also known as Pandak Lam. Pandak Lam is a descendant Daeng Pandak Salili, Bugis princes who hails from Luwuk District, Sulawesi.

Salili Daeng came to Silver during the reign of Sultan Muzaffar Shah III. He was appointed as mufti of Perak  and awarded the title of Dato 'Maharajalela Lela Tan with power can be cut off without asking. Furthermore, he also was involved in the struggle against the British in Perak and he is the leader who led the struggle with other leaders such as the Orang Kaya Seri So royal-rich (better known as Dato 'Sagor) and Ngah Kandin. The struggle was  been designed and maked alliances against British involvement in the murder the British Resident of Perak, namely James Wheller Woodfird Birch (JWW Birch).

In this battle he has get the approval of Sultan Abdullah and Sultan Ismail and the support of the people around Pasir Salak and Kampung Gajah. The involvement of Dato 'Maharajalela as a key figure in the murder of JWW Birch is implementing the decisions of Durian Sebatang on July 21, 1875, chaired by the Sultan Abdullah and attended by the chief or his representative. Unfortunately, he was found guilty of the murder of JWW Birch on November 2, 1875 in Pasir Salak court convened from December 14 to December 22, 1876 in Matang, Perak. He was sentenced to death on January 20, 1877 in Taiping.

Big Eight people in authority to punish offenders who are responsible to defend the king from any threat. Dominate up to Sungai Pasir Salak Erythrina variegata. A mighty speaker and has a high position in the hierarchy order of the seven nobles Silver. Together with Sultan Syed Ismail Kinta and Che Ngah Ibrahim defending the religion and country from British colonial threat. Martyr was hanged for participating directly eliminate British agent JWW Birch.

That was a little bit introduction about Dato Maharajalela...
See you later in my latest blog update...
